Gratefull GVL returns in 2026 under the leadership of United Way of Greenville County — a celebration of community, connection, and the shared belief that everyone deserves a seat at the table. This free, public Thanksgiving meal brings neighbors, coworkers, families, and strangers together for a moment of gratitude and belonging as Main Street transforms into one long table filled with good food, conversation, and the spirit that defines Greenville County.
All food is generously donated and safely prepared by our local restaurant partners, and any surplus funding helps support the community year-round.
We’re so glad you want to help! There are many ways to take part in this community tradition.
Become a Sponsor: Help bring Gratefull GVL 2026 to life and ensure everyone in our community has a seat at the table.
Support the Event: Your gift helps make this meal possible, with surplus funds supporting local food share programs that feed families year-round.
Restaurant Partners: Interested in donating food or serving at the event? We’d love to hear from you.
All of our volunteer needs have been met. Please help us spread the word so that turnout is even stronger than we anticipate. There is no better way to get to know your neighbors and to give thanks for our wonderful city. We hope you’ll gather with us on the Main Street bridge for a meal and conversation on November 25.
We’d love to hear what you are grateful for this holiday season.
